Polyphasic Sleep Day 3

  • 0200-0230: I am somewhat nervous about this day, everything I have read so far is that this day and the tenth day are the hardest, although these same sources have said that the time between the two days is not that bad and once you make it past day 10 you should be fine First time this sleep has ever been successful, I am quite proud of this, however I do feel sleepy. I did have some issues staying awake after this sleep, I am hoping that it doesn't continue on through out today, all though I will be content if I can manage to go today making every nap without over sleep.
  • 0600-0630: This sleep went very well I managed to wake up with the alarm with no problem.
  • 1000-1030: I woke up early from this sleep I turned my alarm off before it had a chance to go off. I feel completely exhausted at this point in time which means this is working. I am finding that this day gets easier as it gets closer to the end of it. I have forgone all caffeinated beverages because I believe that if can make it through what is supposed to be the hardest day then the rest of the adjustment period should be rather easy.
  • 1400-1430: Slept pretty well and falling asleep wasn't a problem. I think that the adapting will be very easy.
  • 1800-1830: I looked forward to this was and I was rewarded with an extremely peaceful sleep, only one more of the day and I will have made it through the third day.
  • 2200-2230: I went to sleep with ease all though I only slept for 15 minutes and couldn't sleep anymore.

  1. Remember the exercising after each phase. It re-energizes the body to get you going again, like a dynamo flashlight.

  2. I am doing light cardio when I wake up all though this last time it didn't seem to help so I went for a walk and that is helping.
